Artist Series #1

This is my first artist series piece. I decided to create a piece based on Mexican folk art. The elements of design in this piece are line, color, shape and form, texture, and space. The principles of design in this piece are balance, emphasis, pattern, and unity/variety.

Seasons

This is my seasons project. I decided to draw and compare what a scene in the summer would look like compared to the same scene in the winter. This piece contains line, shape and form, value, color, and texture. The principles of design in this drawing are contrast, emphasis, and pattern.
